Tomato – Mixed Cherry

A colorful and flavorful mix of cherry, grape, pear and plum type tomatoes. Ideal for salads and relish trays.  Maturity from 60 to 90 days from transplant.

Availability: 42 in stock

SOWING: Start seeds indoors in late winter through early spring in pots, trays or flats. Cover seed with 1/16 inch soil. Plant seeds in sterilized, fertile soil. Water with warm water. Provide plenty of light for young seedlings.

THINNING & TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are about 2 inches tall, thin or individually pot indoor seedlings 3 inches apart. Plant outdoors in late spring after all danger of frost has passed and weather has
warmed considerably.

SPACING: Leave 24 to 36 inches between plants.

GERMINATION: One to two weeks in the home at 70`F. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.

Ed’s Special Advice: Plant in full sun. If possible, against a south or west wall or fence, where sun reflection will provide additional heat Black plastic at base of plant! or a lire placed on the soil around each plant also will provide heal for earlier ripening. Tomatoes prefer rich soil kept moderately moist. Fertilize monthly if necessary and avoid sprayingfoliage when watering. The taller indeterminate varieties in the mix will require some staking or caging.
