SOWING: Start in pots indoors or seed directly into garden after danger of frost has passed. Cover with 1/8-inch soil.
SPACING: Leave 12 inches between plants. Space rows 2 feet apart.
GERMINATION: Approximately one week in 70 degree temperatures, longer in cooler weather.
Ed’s Special Advice: This variety can be used in containers or hanging baskets, as well as in the vegetable garden. Rich, well-drained soil is ideal for cucumbers. Processed manure or compost are excellent soil additives. Water deeply and feed every 3 weeks.

These went crazy in our 2020 Seattle area garden. That’s why I’m deducting a star. They did not read the package and keep to their size. They grew so vigorously they grew over top each other, through the fence, up the fence through the corn, into the beans. Seriously, so thick I can’t harvest them. Vigorous, prolific and tasty. Nice crunchy wet cucumbers perfect for fresh eating and pickled up well too. Loved our acidic soil in some 8a. Had to reseed once due to wet spring weather after mid May sowing but took off with Sun in july. I will grow again but will trellis them.
