A very nice perennial herb. Use flavorful leaves fresh or dried in sauces, soups, salads, with meat, fish and poultry dishes. Grow plants in the vegetable garden or in landscape beds. Approximately 90 days till maturity.

Availability: 73 in stock

SOWING: Sow seeds indoors in early spring, or outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Cover seeds with 1/16 inch of fine soil.

THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When plants are 1 to 2 inches high, thin or transplant seedlings spacing them about 12 to 18 inches apart.

GERMINATION: Approximately 10 days to 3 weeks, depending upon where seeds are started. Keep moderately moist during germination.

Ed’s Special Advice: Pick leaves for drying just before flowers open. Dry in a warm well ventilated room. Store in airtight containers. Pinch to encourage bushiness. Excellent herb to use with Mexican, Spanish, and Italian dishes. Plant in well drained soil in a sunny spot.
