SOWING: Sow seeds indoors in early spring, or outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Cover seeds with 1/16 inch of fine soil.
THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When plants are 1 to 2 inches high, thin or transplant seedlings spacing them about 12 to 18 inches apart.
GERMINATION: Approximately 10 days to 3 weeks, depending upon where seeds are started. Keep moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Pick leaves for drying just before flowers open. Dry in a warm well ventilated room. Store in airtight containers. Pinch to encourage bushiness. Excellent herb to use with Mexican, Spanish, and Italian dishes. Plant in well drained soil in a sunny spot.
