$2.29

A long, red carrot rich in vitamins and minerals. It is especially high in anti-oxidant lycopene, which is also found in tomatoes. When raw, its roots are light pink and somewhat rough in appearance. When peels and cooks, the carrots turn blood red in color. Its flavor and texture also improves significantly when cooked. Approximately 76 days to maturity. Approximately 700 seeds per packet.

Availability: 33 in stock

Ed’s Special Advice: Sow carrots into enriched, cultivated soil kept fairly well watered. A novel addition to the garden and dinner table. Cooks nicely, slightly woody if eaten raw.
