Ed’s Special Advice: Beans grow best in a sunny location in fertile, light, well-drained soil. Water plants deeply when dry by soaking soil. 3-4 foot bean poles can be used for support, though none are required. Bean pods can be left to dry on the wine. Harvest pods when completely dry then store in a container for later use.

SEED SAVING: Let bean pods dry completely on the vine. Remove from pods and store in a cool, dry place.
