SOWING: Sow seeds directly outdoors after last expected frost. Cover seeds with 1/4 to 1/2 inch fine soil, firmed down. Seedlings do not transplant well.
SPACING: Plant seeds approximately 6 inches apart for mass effect.
GERMINATION: Approximately 10 days in 65°F weather. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Nasturtiums are easy to grow in cool climates. Plants grow best in somewhat poor to average garden soil in an area that is mostly sunny but does not receive hot afternoon sun. Provide ample water without overwatering and do not fertilize.
