SOWING: Start indoors for quicker bloom or seed outdoors after all danger of frost is past. Cover seeds with 1/8 inch light soil. Keep soil warm and water with room temperature water.
TRANSPLANTING: Set seedling plants outdoors after danger of frost is past.
SPACING: Leave 8 inches between plants in all directions.
GERMINATION: Approximately one week in 70 degree temperatures. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: One of the most consistent flowering annuals that can be grown in the flower garden. They seem to do well regardless of the weather. Easy to grow in full or part-sun. Keep dead flowers picked. Combines well with other low growing summer annuals in flower beds.
