SOWING: Start seeds indoors in early spring, up to 8 to 10 weeks before last frost. Sow seeds an inch apart. Sow in flats, pots or trays. Do not cover seed with soil or medium. Firm seed in soil with back of hand. Water carefully with warm water to aid germination.
THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Plant seedlings outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Space plants 6 to 8 inches apart.
GERMINAT’ION: Approximately 2 to 3 weeks in 70 degree temperature. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.

Seeds can also be sown directly into garden after all danger of frost Plant in full sun in cool regions. Flowers last best in partial sun where weather is hot in summertime. Keep soil moderately moist and feed after first blooming period. If blooming ceases, lightly shear back plants to encourage new flowers.
