SOWING: Simply scatter seeds outdoors from early spring. Lightly cover seeds with 1/8 inch fine soil. Seeds can also be started in fall in mild winter areas.
THINNING: Thin 8 to 10 inches apart when seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high.
GERMINATION: 5 to 10 days. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Godetia’s popularity is growing for good reason. It is not fussy about soil, nor does it require any special care. It can’t be beat for an easy to grow annual that blooms so colorfully. Fairly cold hardy, it can be it can be planted in the Fall in mild climates for blooms the following Spring. Water when dry and lightly shear back expired flowers for continued blooming.
