SOWING: Sow seed directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed. Cultivate soil and scatter seeds covering them with 1/8 inch fine soil.
THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: Thin or transplant to 6 inches apart when seedlings are 2 to 3 inches high.
GERMINATION: 10 to 20 days depending upon weather and soil warmth. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Grows best in fairly moist soil in filtered sunlight or partially shaded areas. Can be sown mid to /ate summer for blooms the following year. Start seed indoors or in the greenhouse in late winter, earliest spring for possible flowering the first year. Plants will usually re-sow for the next year.
