SOWING: Simply broadcast seeds into desirable planting spot after danger of frost has passed. Cover seeds with 1/8 inch of fine soil. Can also be started indoors in individual peat pots or containers 3 to 4 weeks before last frost.
THINNING & SPACING: When seedling plants are about 2 inches tall thin to about 12 inches apart. Carefully replant thinned plants.
LOCATION: Grow in full sun or part sun and shade in soil that is well drained.
GERMINATION: 7 to 10 days at 70 degrees. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Grows best in a sunny spot with average garden soil. One of the most beautiful, easy to grow flowering annuals from seed. This dwarf variety can be moved forward in the planting bed from where Cosmos sensation is grown. ft can also be interplanted with other mid height bedding plants or used for spot color in the landscape. Water when dry.
