SOWING: Cover seed with 1/8 inch fine soil in individual peat pots started indoors with plenty of light.
TRANSPLANTING: When plants are about 3 inches tall, transplant outdoors to permanent location about a foot apart.
GERMINATION: 10 to 15 days. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
Ed’s Special Advice: Plant in a mostly sunny location with fairly rich, well-drained soil. Plant at the edges of the garden with other pollinator attracting perennials. Keeping a healthy population of plants that pollinators enjoy will ensure more productive crops and a healthier environment.
