ED HUME’S EDUCATIONAL GARDEN
Our Educational Garden consists of 14 fun, educational garden areas. Including the Quiz Garden; Blind Garden; Bird Garden; Flowering Plant area; Drought Garden; Native plant area; Herb Garden; Maze; Crazy Garden and more. Children will plant a seed, bulb or cutting to take with them and will learn about tissue culture; grafting; cuttings; rhizomes; bulbs, and much more, in a solar greenhouse.
We designed this unique garden just for children… but the adults insist it is an educational garden and of as much interest to adults as it is to children. So the staff has decided to open it to adult groups too!
This year, our garden will open for group tours on May 22nd.
Group tours will be held at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays by reservation only.
On Wednesdays, there will be tours at 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM, without reservations with a limit of 15 people. Contact us for address/directions.
The garden is not open for self-tours at any time.
