SWEET PEAS Supersnoop Bush Mixed Colors Hardy Annual- One Season Plant - Height Approximately 2 feet This sweet pea does not climb and does not need support. Plants form rather bushy growth habit. The long stemmed flowers in a wide range of colors are ideal for cutting. Very easy to grow and enjoy. Grow as a bedding plant in flower beds, borders and gardens. Special Directions For Short Season Climates SOWING: Sow directly into the garden from earliest spring as soon as the soil is workable. Plant seed in a trench 4 to 6 inches deep, 2 inches apart and cover with 1 inch of fine soil firmed down. As plants become established fill in trench gradually. THINNING AND SPACING: When seedlings are about 2 inches high thin to 4 inches apart. Space rows 18 inches apart, or sow in wide rows 4 inches apart in all directions. GERMINATION: 10 to 20 days depending upon soil warmth. For quicker germination soak seeds overnight prior to planting. Ed's Special Advice When possible plant rows in a north south direction for best sun exposure and good air circulation. Plants grow best in a sunny location with rich fertile soil kept fairly moist during the cooler part of the spring growing season. Keep flowers picked to ensure flowering for the longest possible time.
