TRANSPLANTING: Transplant seedlings into garden when a few inches high after danger of frost has passed. Space plants one foot apart.
GERMINATION: Usually two to three weeks depending upon soil temperature. Keep soil moderately moist during germination period.
Ed's Special Advice
Heliotrope is somewhat slow growing so start seeds indoors for best results. Plant in full sun and fairly rich soil. Excellent for use around tomatoes, because its fragrance attracts bees, which help pollinate their flowers. Avoid over-watering.
