Very colorful summer flowers that continue into the fall. Easy to grow, in full sun or part shade. Ideal for massing or as background plants in flower beds. Cut flowers are long lasting. Flowers are yellow, gold, or . mahogany with dark centers. Usually become a perennial in the region.
Special Directions For Short Season Climates
SOWING: Sow indoors in early spring. Or seeds can be started after danger of severe frost has passed. Cover seeds with only 1/8 inch of fine soil.
THINNING AND TRANSPLANTING: When seedlings are 2 inches high thin to 12 to 18 inches apart. Transplant thinned plants.
GERMINATION: Approximately 20 days, depending upon weather. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.
