GERMINATION: 12 to 18 days. Keep soil moderately moist during germination.

Ed's Special Advice

Select a sunny location with fairly rich well drained soil.  Hill soil up around plant base to cover and blanch.  Water moderately and sow seeds at 2 to 4 week intervals for successive crops.  Pull plant prior to flowering, when base is 3 to 6 inches in size.  Leave plants to fully mature to harvest seeds.
